ABOUT

• Each camp week will include activities and skills matching the weekly theme.
• Games, activities, and fun in the gym.
• Mid-morning lunch time, and afternoon snack time.
• Every camp includes outdoor special features such as waterplay, sidewalk chalk, giant bubbles, and more! When the weather allows.

WHAT TO BRING

• A backpack for storing all belongings.
• A filled non-leak water bottle.
• Lunch and a snack. Please pack in such a way that your child knows the difference of their lunch vs snack to ensure food allocated for each eating time.
• A full set of spare clothing and a towel. This is important so that children can dry off after outdoor activities where they might get wet.
• Wear or pack sunscreen, clearly labeled with your child’s name.

WHAT TO WEAR

• Non-baggy athletic clothing or leotard. Without buttons, zippers, or hard snaps.
• Hair fully secured.
  
• Non-slip shoes that can get wet in waterplay, that allow children to run and play without tripping. Example: Water shoes or secure athletic sandals.
• Please do not bring electronic devices or phones to camp. Children are not permitted to use electronics during the camp day and will be asked to keep any devices stored in their backpacks unless there is an emergency. Metropolitan Gymnastics is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged electronics. Thank you for supporting us in creating a fun summer filled with hands-on activities, childhood memories, and in-person social interaction.

POLICIES

We are excited to welcome your child to camp and want every family to have the best experience possible. To keep our program running smoothly and safely for all participants, please review the following policies:

• All camps bookings include a $100 non-refundable deposit within the cost of booking. If you wish to be refunded or transfer your camp registration, this $100 deposit, plus tax, is non-refundable. 
• If you need to transfer your child’s registration to a different camp week, a transfer fee ($100 plus tax) will apply per week transferred.
• We are unable to provide refunds for missed camp days or weeks after the absence occurs. All transfers must be booked before the start of the camp week. If your child experiences a medical emergency, please contact us and provide a doctor’s note. We will work with you to move any remaining camp days to another week within the same summer season, as long as space is available.
• For the safety of all campers, Metropolitan Gymnastics reserves the right to dismiss any child without refund if their behavior places themselves or others at risk. This includes, but is not limited to, physical aggression, unsafe actions, attempting to leave supervised areas, repeated inappropriate language, or ongoing unkind or bullying behavior that does not improve with reasonable redirection.
