REC GIRLS 1: ROBINS
ENTRY LEVEL CLASS

CLASS DESCRIPTION

Rec Girls 1: Robins is the introduction level to our Girl’s Recreational Class Program, this class is designed for girls who are beginning gymnastics. We focus on women-specific events: Vault, Bars, Beam, Floor, plus trampoline in a fun and active atmosphere! Rec Girls 1 gymnasts learn the foundation and introduction to gymnastics while improving balance, strength, confidence, flexibility, coordination, and teamwork!

55-MIN CLASS MONTHLY TUITION
ONCE PER WEEK CLASS: $105/MONTH
TWICE PER WEEK CLASS: $180/MONTH

REC GIRLS 2: BLUEJAYS
REQUIRED:
Promotion from Rec Girls 1
or skill-evaluation if transferring gyms.

CLASS DESCRIPTION
Rec Girls 2: Blue Jays is the second level of our Girls Recreational Class Program and requires coach-approved promotion from Rec Girls 1: Robins or a skill-evaluation of equal level if transferring from another gym. This class provides a natural progression of skill difficulty for gymnasts who have an understanding of basic gymnastics skills. We focus on women-specific events: Vault, Bars, Beam, Floor, plus trampoline in a fun and active atmosphere! Rec Girls 2 gymnasts continue to develop their gymnastics skills while further improving their balance, strength, confidence, flexibility, coordination, and teamwork!

85-MIN CLASS MONTHLY TUITION

REC GIRLS 3: EAGLES
REQUIRED:

CLASS DESCRIPTION
Rec Girls 3: Eagles is the third level of our Girls Recreational Class Program and requires coach-approved promotion from Rec Girls 2: Blue Jays or a skill-evaluation of equal level if transferring from another gym. We focus on women-specific events: Vault, Bars, Beam, Floor, plus trampoline in a fun and active atmosphere! This class is designed for experienced gymnasts to further advance their gymnastics learning and progressively master more challenging skill-difficulty. Each student will be challenged at her ability level and will experience the success that comes with hard work. From this level, gymnast often choose to pursue one of our competitive programs or can choose to age-up into our Teen Gymnastics: Orcas recreational gymnastics class.

GIRLS PRE-TEAM: USAGYM LEVEL 1
AGES: 5-7 years old

REQUIREMENTS & DESCRIPTION
Our pre-team programs are invite-only. We host team-tryouts each May and June of each year, if you are interested in pre-team programs, please join us at our next team tryouts.

Our pre-team programs follow a year-long season which begins in June/July and continues through May/June the following year.


One-time free trial class available for first-time youth participants!

Online preregistration is required. Follow the enrollment process and select the free trial option during registration to reserve your spot.

Limit one free trial class per new child.

Free trials are available only in classes with openings and are not available in classes with a waitlist.

WEATHER CLOSURES
Weather related closures will be posted on our Metropolitan Gymnastics Instagram & Facebook accounts. Once we are able to re-open families will be notified via email with more information about their missed programs.

 

FAMILY MEMBERSHIP
All class registrations require a family membership, due at the time of first enrollment. Membership costs include:
$25 Once-Per-Lifetime Family Membership
$50 Annual Anniversary Membership

MONTHLY TUITION
& CONTINUOUS ENROLLMENT

Our class programs are year-round and are structured with continuous enrollment this ensures your space is reserved on-going while paying monthly tuition. Monthly tuition is the same price each month, regardless of the number of weeks in that month.

AUTOPAY & TUITION DUE DATES
Online enrollments default to “auto-pay” for monthly tuition, pre-paying for the following month; if you wish to “self-pay” instead of auto-pay, you can update your preferences in your online iClass account or contact us at our front desk.

Autopay for monthly tuition is processed on the 26th of each month, paying for the following month’s tuition. If you are not on auto-pay, tuition is due on the 1st of each month.

CARD TRANSACTIONS
We have a 3.5% processing fee added to all card payments, online and in-person, this will be added to your balance at time of checkout when using a card payment. If you pay in-person with cash or check, then the 3.5% card convivence fee will be waived.

SIBLING DISCOUNTS
The first child pays full tuition, and each additional sibling in the same family receives a 10% discount.

PAY IN ADVANCE DISCOUNTS
Tuition that is paid 3 months in advance receives a 5% discount.
Tuition that is paid 6 months in advance receives a 10% discount.

LATE FEE
We offer a grace period for late tuition until the 15th of the month. Any tuition remaining late on the 15th of the month, a $15.00 late fee will be added to your account.

MISSED CLASSES
There is no pro-rating or refunds of tuition for missed classes, your enrollment ensures your space is saved. If you are absent, you may redeem one complementary “Open Gym”, which is free play time in the gym, this is limited to once per month and expires if unused after 30-days. 

DROP POLICY
Notify us via email if you intend to drop your enrollment. Drop notices that are received by the 15th of the month will be processed for the last date of that same month. Drop notices given after the 15th of the month will be processed for the last date of the following month, with that month’s tuition payment remaining due.

EQUIPMENT USE
Children and parents will be invited into the gymnastics area by their coach when the class time begins, no 
unsupervised gym time is permitted.

 

WEAR
Comfortable non-baggy athletic clothing. OR Wear a gymnastics leotard (female) with or without shorts or leggings. Please no jeans or clothing that is bulky with hard zippers or buttons.

Gymnastics is a bare-foot sport to create better grip, upon arrival participants will place shoes and socks into a cubby; if foot coverings are needed for personal reasons then gymnastics shoes or grip-socks are recommended.

Hair should be secured out of face, safe from obstructing skills and vision.

BRING
Water bottle recommended. We have a water bottle filling station, no drinking fountain.
*Change of clothes in case of accidents, depending on need.

ENTER
Use the “Rec Gym” entrance. Located at door number 5. Check-in at front desk or with the coaches in the line-up area. Shoes and socks off. Wait at the class line-up area. The coach will welcome participants into the gym when class begins. We hope you have a great time!
