ADULT OPEN GYM DESCRIPTION
Adult Open Gym is free time in the gym for self-guided workout. All equipment is open for use including Men’s and Women’s apparatus, tumble tracks, trampoline, and foam pits. There is a coach available for assistance, guidance, and monitoring safety. All skill levels are welcome: Beginner through Elite.

FULLY STRUCTURED ADULT GYMNASTICS CLASS SCHEDULE

Thursdays 7:30-9:30 PM

THURSDAY CLASS DESCRIPTION
Fully Structured Adult Class is designed for those who are looking for formal group instruction. The coach leads participants through a variety of a variety of skills, drills, and apparatuses with a fully guided group gymnastics workout. Each class alternates between a variety of Men’s and Women’s artistic gymnastics apparatuses, while typically always including trampoline, tumbling, tumble track, rod floor and foam pits. Workout assignments are adjusted to meet the skill level of each participant, offering multiple skill progression choices for new beginners through advanced skill abilities.

WEATHER CLOSURES:
Weather related closures will be posted on our Metropolitan Gymnastics Instagram & Facebook accounts. Once we are able to re-open families will be notified via email with more information about their missed programs. 

HEALTH AND SAFTEY
It is strongly recommended that any adult consult a physician before starting a fitness program.

ENTER
Use the “Main Gym” entrance.
Located at the main entrance with the large glass doors.

WEAR
Comfortable non-baggy athletic clothing, such as shorts or non-baggy sweats, with a shirt or tank; no zippers, no buttons, no jeans. Or a leotard with shorts, leggings, or athletic pants if desired. Gymnastics is a bare-foot sport, upon arrival participants will remove shoes and socks. If foot coverings are needed for personal reasons then gymnastics shoes or grip-socks are recommended. Hair should be secured out of face, safe from obstructing skills and vision.

BRING
Water bottle recommended.
We have a water bottle filling station, no drinking fountain.
