Gymnastics is a great foundation for any child and boys who participate enjoy the lifelong benefits of increased coordination, confidence and high self-esteem as well as physically fit bodies. Men’s gymnastics is great for developing strength, joint flexibility, and body awareness! Boys who participate in gymnastics gain increased motor skills that can be helpful in many other sports as well. The classes below are perfect for gymnasts looking to begin gymnastics for the first time or pursue a recreational track in the sport! Each class has certain criteria required to graduate to the next level in our recreational program, if your gymnast is looking for a more competitive track, please check out our pre-team classes or look for team try-out opportunities available in late-spring/summer.

BEGINNING BOYS 5-6Y & 7-14Y
55 minute classes, once or twice per week
We provide a fun and active atmosphere while we focus on men-specific events (Floor, Pommel, Rings, Vault, Parallel Bars, and High Bar) as well as trampoline! Boys will work on balance, strength, confidence, flexibility, coordination, and patience! Each student will be challenged at his ability level and will experience the success that comes with hard work through learning and developing basic gymnastics skills.

INTERMEDIATE BOYS 7-14Y
1.5 hour classes, twice per week
Each class will provide the gymnast with an opportunity to improve and gain gymnastics skills! We will focus on men’s events (Floor, Pommel, Rings, Vault, Parallel Bars, and High Bar), and often trampoline to increase coordination, strength, flexibility, skill execution, and stamina! This class is great for any athlete looking for a fun and challenging experience to improve their gymnastics skills.

ADAVANVED BOYS & GIRLS, 7-14Y
2 hour classes, twice per week
Each class will provide the gymnast with an opportunity to improve and gain gymnastics skills! We will focus on men’s events (Floor, Pommel, Rings, Vault, Parallel Bars, and High Bar), and often trampoline to increase coordination, strength, flexibility, skill execution, and stamina! This class is great for any athlete looking for a fun and challenging experience to improve their gymnastics skills.

PRE-TEAM CLASSES 5Y+
Invite only pre-team program.
Pre-Team Level 3 uses the USA Gymnastics Junior Olympic Level 3 guidelines to teach young boys the fundamentals of competitive gymnastics. Level 3 gymnasts develop strength through apparatus work, learning JO Level 3 routines, and conditioning. Each of these classes is intended to be fun while maximizing the potential for each gymnast! Classes are held 2 times per week and are intended to help athletes prepare for Junior Olympic competitive level 4. Pre-Team gymnasts are given the opportunity to perform in 2-3 exhibition-type meets per season to show family and friends the skills and routines they have developed!

 

LIFE-TIME MEMBERSHIP
$25/once per life-time per family + Conv. Fee
Required, due with first-time enrollment.

ANNIVERSARY INSURANCE
$50/yearly per family + Conv. Fee
Required, due at first-time enrollment, and once per year upon the anniversary date of your membership.

TUITION PRICING 
BEGINNING BOYS 5-6Y & 7-14Y, 55-min class
Once per week: $95/month + Conv. Fee
Twice per week: $160/month + Conv. Fee

INTERMEDIATE BOYS 7-14Y, 1.5-hour class
Twice per week: $210/month + Conv. Fee

ADVANCED BOYS & GIRLS 7-14Y, 2-hour class
Twice per week: $260/month + Conv. Fee

 

TUITION POLICIES
CONTINUOUS ENROLLMENT
Continuous enrollment ensures your space is reserved in the class continuously while paying monthly tuition. Monthly tuition is the same price each month, regardless of the number of weeks in that month.

Online enrollments default to “auto pay” for Monthly Tuition, pre-paying for the following month; if you wish to “self pay” instead of autopay, you can update your preferences in your family account online or contact us.

AUTOPAY
Autopay for monthly tuition is processed on the 26th of each month, paying for the following month’s tuition.

SELF-PAY
If you are not on auto-pay, tuition fees are due on the 1st of each month.

LATE FEE
A $15.00 late fee +Conv. Fee will be assessed for any tuition not received prior to the 15th of the month. There is no pro-rating of tuition for missed classes. No credits or refunds are given for tuition.

DROP POLICY
Notify us via email if you intend to drop your enrollment by the 15th of the month prior to the month that you are canceling tuition. If you do not notify us by the 15th, you will be responsible for the following month’s tuition.

SIBLING DISCOUNTS
The first child pays full tuition, and each additional sibling in the same family receives a 10% discount.

PAY IN ADVANCE DISCOUNTS
Tuition that is paid 3 months in advance receives a 5% discount.
Tuition that is paid 6 months in advance receives a 10% discount.

IMPORTANT DATES
GYM CLOSED FOR:

    • Labor Day: September 4th, 2023
    • Halloween Day: October 31st, 2023
    • Thanksgiving Day and Friday: November 23-24th, 2023
    • Winter Break: December 22nd, 2023 – January 1st, 2024
    • Easter Sunday: March 31st, 2024
    • Memorial Day, Monday, May 27th, 2024
    • Independence Day, July 4th, 2024

For weather closures (snow, storms, etc), we follow the “Kent School District” for snow and weather-related cancelations. If your class is canceled due to holiday/gym closure, you will receive one Open Gym makeup credit, which is good for 30 days. Unused Open Gym makeup credits expire after 30 days.

ENTER
Use the “Rec Gym” entrance.
Located at door number 5.

WEAR
Comfortable non-baggy athletic clothing, such as shorts, sweats, or athletic pants, with a shirt or tank; no zippers, no buttons, no jeans.
Or a gymnastics step-in with shorts or pants.
Gymnastics is a bare-foot sport, upon arrival participants will place shoes and socks into a cubby; if foot coverings are needed for personal reasons then gymnastics shoes or grip-socks are recommended.
Hair should be secured out of face, safe from obstructing skills and vision.

BRING
Water bottle recommended.
We have a water bottle filling station, no drinking fountain.

ARRIVAL
Enter through Rec Gym entrance.
Shoes and socks into cubby or with parents.
Children line up at the sign for their class, and meet the coach.
Gymnasts enter gym with their coach; no unsupervised gym time is permitted.
